 All around excellent product
The Ninja DZ201 Foodi 8 Quart Air fryer is my first experience with air fryers so I was apprehensive before using it. But it turns out to be the most user friendly appliance in the house. After just a few times I was confident nothing would blow up or burn. :) The machine, baskets and grates are top notch and so very easy to clean. The controls and functions made sense right away. Food comes out amazingly flavorful. Roasted veggies and potatoes are superb. Salmon is beyond superb. One of the surprises is not having anywhere near the left-over cooking odors in the house that you get from pan frying, searing or oven baking. This is a quality product I'd definitely recommend.

THIS NINJA IS THE REAL DEAL
My Ninja Foodi 8 qt 2 bucket model works just fine. I haven't made a lot of different meals in it just yet but what I have done so far turned out really good. I air fried a chicken thigh bone-in with skin. Seasoned it to my liking including Panko bread crumbs. Placed the chicken skin side down in one of the buckets. Hit 390 for 15 minutes and Voila!!! perfectly cooked chicken. Crispy and tasty!!! Also tried tater tots and they too came out just as i like them...super crispy. Depending on how many you cook up will determine heat and time issues. I think I did about a quarter of a pound at 400F for about 8 minutes. Easy to clean. My unit sits comfortably on my kitchen countertop. It is suggested that you do not put these units on surfaces that aren't made for heat. Best to also get some teflon tongs so as not to mar the coating in the bucket as you pick food out. I watched a lot of YouTube videos for recipe ideas as the booklet that comes with the unit has suggestions on various items (veggies, chicken, potatoes, meats) but only for cooking times and not a lot of recipe ideas (some but only a very few). Anyway nice unit.

Lots of choices to cook!
I am a single person who loves to cook and this dual air fryer works for me. It is easy to use with all the choices of cooking that allows you to cook two items and have them finish at the same time. So easy to clean as well. This is the one air fryer everyone needs in their kitchens.

 Ninja Air Fryer
I thought I’d never buy an air fryer, but circumstances had that I needed housing immediately, when my condo sold in 7 days. So, I moved into an air b&b and had to add to a tiny fridge and microwave. So I bought a two plate burner and added the Ninja Air Fryer. My double basket Ninja does everything, even baking. Though I live alone, I was able to carry on my families tradition for thanksgiving, hot chocolate, homemade cinnamon rolls and the Macy’s Day Thanksgiving Parade. I use it to fry my boneless, skinless chicken, vegetables and tater tots ( crispy on the outside and soft on the inside!). Being able to do my own cooking and baking has given me a sense of homeyness in my current living situation. Even though life will change in March, the Ninja Air Fryer is NOT going to be a donation, as it’s allowed me to reheat and recrisp leftovers. BTW, I highly recommend getting the liners for your Ninja, even less clean up. I also recommend getting the double basket, as you can cook chicken and vegetables at different time and have them finished at the same time.

It has literally changed the way I cook.
For starters, a lot of folks look at Air Fryers (and a lot of their marketing materials) and say, "this is for cooking unhealthy food" - fries, onion rings, etc etc. For me it's not - you can use it that way, and many folks do - for me personally, I use it to cook a lot of healthy items, fish, veg, sweet potatoes etc. The word "fryer" is misleading because it makes you think of things dropped in oil. Thats not the idea here. This is more like a mini convection oven - using dry circulated heat. I use it to create foil-wrapped salmon "pockets" (think boy scouts) with herbs, leeks, tomatoes, olives, etc. - using frozen salmon right from Sam's. Works perfectly. No stove mess, easy cleanup. Our son is heading off to grad school soon and he has one non-negotiable request: one of these. That's high praise. Highly recommended without reservations.

Love this air fryer!
Love this air fryer! It’s definitely an upgrade from our Ninja Foodie toaster oven style air fryer! So much easier to keep clean and love the dual baskets. It’s perfect for our family of 3 but I think a family of 4 could use the 10 quart.
