I had another air fryer that was suuuuuuch a chore when it came to cleaning. The fan that circulated the air was in the bottom which meant that all of the oil and grease and gunk all caked onto not just the basket but also that fan and cleaning it was a nightmare. It was so bad that when I moved I gave it away (left it on the street -- sorry environment)

I bought this air fryer two months later after a lot of searching. I am ecstatic with the choice. I live alone but still opted for the 6 quart and have never regretted it. Cleanup is a total breeze. I put some soap in there, hot water, give it a few shakes and voila all good. The fan for this one is (thankfully) in the top so none of the drippy gross gunk to clean up. Instructions say you can throw most of it in the dishwasher but I've had it three months and haven't had to do that yet.
